Polyester Laminating Film

Product Description

Polyester laminating film(PET) is a popular film choice with excellent properties, making it ideal for most applications. Polyester fiber has excellent abrasion and scratch resistance, durability and folding characteristics. It also has high tensile, tear and impact strength, which can be maintained even after lamination. These films contain no plasticizers or become brittle over time. For projects that require toughness, durability, and heat resistance, consider using polyester.

Light (LIT) Film

· Lightweight (LIT): Lightweight polyester products have a nominal thickness of 1.3 mils and have a clear, glossy finish. These films are ideal for most high-speed lamination systems, combining low price and good performance characteristics. Copolymer, aggressive and SuperStick adhesives are available.

· Light Gluable/Stampable (LIT G): A 13 million film that can accept most types of glue and hot stamping. Copolymer adhesives are available.

· Light Non-Reflective Matte (LIT NRM): Non-reflective polyester matte film has a slightly dim finish, which can reduce glare from overhead light sources. Copolymer, aggressive and SuperStick adhesives are available.

Standard (STD) Movies

· Standard (STD): Standard polyester film is ideal for high-speed lamination projects, including book covers, dust jackets, and presentation folders. These films contain 0.5 mil substrate and 1 mil adhesive. Standard polyester products are clear, shiny, and have excellent abrasion and scratch resistance. Provide copolymer, aggressive, educational and SuperStick adhesive

· Standard Gluable/Stampable (STD GS): A standard polyester film that can accept hot stamping and binding glue. Common applications include packaging, folding cartons, high-end sales literature, and soft cover books. Copolymer adhesives are available.

· Standard non-reflective matte (STD NRM): standard polyester fiber with a matte matte finish. The gloss is reduced to obtain a soft appearance, which is ideal for book covers, dust jackets, and digital output. Copolymer, aggressive and SuperStick adhesives are available.

· Standard semi-gloss (STD S): This semi-gloss finish has a slightly higher gloss than non-reflective matte (NRM) film and is more transparent. Copolymer adhesives are available.
