The fiber here does not refer to the cellulose eaten in life or the fiber of clothes, but glass fiber. Glass fiber is an inorganic non-metallic material with excellent performance. It is made of glass balls or waste glass micro-materials through high-temperature melting, drawing, winding, weaving and other processes. Adding glass fiber to the resin can increase the corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of the glass fiber reinforced plastic machine-made board. If the glass fiber is exposed in the produced glass steel plate, what is the reason?
1. If the gel coat is thin and the gel coat is not cured completely, the reinforcement layer is applied.
2. The fiber rolling is too heavy.
In order to avoid the phenomenon of fiber exposure of the fiberglass machine-made board, in the production, we must pay attention to the completion of the soaking in the resin when laying the glass fiber, and the curing of the gel coat should be good, and the thickness should be sufficient.
