In addition, the delicate and precise fiber core layer makes the glass fiber reinforced plastic steel have the advantages of toughness and firmness. The longitudinal buckling strength and impact strength value of the steel have exceeded the usual steel. The use of glass fiber mat improves the transverse strength of the steel. The resin layer formed on the appearance has special properties such as satisfactory anti-corrosion and anti-cracking.
Generally, glass fiber reinforced plastic profiles are reinforced materials such as glass fiber and felt fabric with fully impregnated resin mixture, which are formed to produce models and heat and solidify in the mold cavity. Then, under the effect of the tension of the drag mechanism, the length of the continuous pulling of the cicada is strong. In addition, extruded steel can be preset, and different styles of extruded steel can be combined with appropriate signatures to produce a variety of FRP profile products. So, how to choose the right FRP profile?
The following takes the more common FRP guardrails in industrial production and urban greening as an example. There are dozens of types of FRP profile products used in guardrails. The following introduces how to choose the right one.
A. First, select the guardrail type. There are two common ones, one is that all the guardrail accessories are composed of profiles, and the other is that the profiles are used as the frame of the guardrail.
B. Check the relevant dimensions (such as length, height, span, etc.) in order to perform post-installation work according to specific dimensions.
C. Choose the frame profile products of the guardrail, such as common pipe fitting type wood materials (square, tube, rectangle, pattern, etc.). The entire guardrail can use the same type of pipe steel shape alone, or multiple pipe fitting materials can be used at the same time. It is common in the general market that glass fiber reinforced plastic square pipes are used as the main frame of the guardrail, and the pipes are used as the crossbar pillars of the guardrail.
D. Choose appropriate steel joints according to the type of guardrail frame steel. For example, the connectors used for the tubular section steel combination are round bases, tees and crosses, while the connectors used for the square pipe section steel combinations are square bases, tees and crosses.
E. After the main body has completed the selection of FRP profile products, it should determine the performance requirements of the product, including anti-corrosion grade, strength requirements, loading capacity, impact resistance, flame retardancy, etc. These performance requirements are provided to the production enterprise, and the manufacturer will select appropriate raw materials for production according to specific needs.
F. Choose the color and appearance type of the product. Theoretically, the color of FRP profile products can be arbitrarily selected, and the appearance types include matte, flat and smooth.
G. In order to facilitate the installation of the guardrail, before the FRP profile products leave the factory, the products should be cut open and assembled directly after arriving at the site.
