2. After deciding on the purpose of the FRP grating, it is time to decide the size and specification of the grating used. Through the relevant introduction of the manufacturer, you can have a certain understanding of the lattice board. For example, a 2.5 cm thick lattice board or a 3.8 cm thick lattice board can be selected at a car wash. Electroplating equipment factories generally use 2.5 cm thick lattice plates. Sewage treatment plants, chemical plants are always 3.8 cm thick lattice.
3. After selecting the FRP grating with moderate thickness, the size of the grating should be calculated when using it. It's like a car wash. The size of the car wash is mostly 1.220m*2.440m, and the size of the FRP grille is 1.220*3.660, so it can be used after cutting.
4. Select appropriate raw materials to make FRP gratings that meet the requirements. For example, if grating from a chemical plant or sewage treatment plant is used, a more corrosive resin should be selected for production.
Precautions for FRP grating
1. Due to the low density and light material, it is very easy to install FRP gratings in areas with high groundwater levels, so anti-floating measures such as town buildings or rainwater runoff treatment should be considered.
2. In the construction of T-shaped and pipeline crack repair on the installed FRP grating, the construction of resin and fiber cloth similar to the completely dry conditions in the factory takes 7-8 hours to harden, and it is generally difficult for on-site construction and maintenance to meet this requirement. a request.
3. The existing underground pipeline detection equipment mainly focuses on metal pipeline detection. Non-metallic pipeline detectors are expensive and cannot be detected after the FRP grating is buried, and other subsequent construction units are easily excavated and damaged during construction.

Frp grills have poor sun protection. The FRP grating is made of 0.5mm thick resin layer and UV absorber (processed in the factory) on the surface to delay the aging time. Over time, the resin layer and UV absorber are damaged, affecting life.
What is the production process of FRP grating?
There are three main production processes for FRP gratings: reciprocating filament winding process, continuous filament winding process and centrifugal casting process.
1. Reciprocating fiber winding process (fixed field method): During this process, the soaking tank reciprocates together with the rotating mandrel, the long fiber glass fiber and the mandrel axis are assisted by a certain angle, and the auxiliary angle (ie the winding angle) is determined by the soaking. The ratio of tank movement speed to core rotation speed is controlled, and the translational behavior of the soak tank is controlled by computerized electro-mechanical controls. The number of wrapping layers is gradually increased until the designed wall thickness is reached. After winding, the resin of the product substantially hardens. After curing, the mandrel is removed from the fiberglass pipe.
2. Continuous filament winding process (continuous method): This process is a supply station of roving, glass fiber and resin sand mixture that supplies resin in motion, made by the continuous advancement of the mandrel.
3. Centrifugal force casting process (finishing method): During this process, the cut glass fiber reinforcement and sand are fed into the steel mold with the bearing fixed, and the unsaturated resin with the catalyst is injected into one end of the steel mold to soak the reinforcement material, under the action of centrifugal force Next, the resin replaces the air of the fibers and the filler material, resulting in a dense composite material without voids. Due to the centrifugal force, the pipes manufactured by this method are also called FRP sand pipes.
