Refractory fiber plastic is a kind of ramming material with high strength and relatively small linear shrinkage. As the name implies, the plastic material has good plasticity, and the amount of water added is relatively small. The construction method of refractory fiber plastic is tamping and tamping, which is basically the same as the construction of refractory ramming materials, but not all ramming materials have plastic properties, and not all of them are plastic. And the construction of the plastic must be ramming. The inspection methods for ramming materials and plastics before construction are also different. When inspecting ramming materials before construction, hold them tightly with your hands. If the materials are in groups and do not disperse, it means that construction is possible. The plastic must be sealed and stored, and check whether the plasticity retention rate is above 80% before construction.
The biggest difference between the refractory fiber plastic and the castable is in the material ratio. The castable should be added with a coagulant (A-50 high alumina cement or alumina cement), while the plastic without a coagulant should be added with a shrinkage agent and activated clay.
Most of the ramming construction tools use wooden hammers and wind hammers. Simple furnace walls and furnace roofs do not need to support formwork, and furnace mouths or holes can be temporarily supported by molds.
