When FRP tanks are in working condition, there are potential dangers such as leakage, overpressure, explosion, etc. If the hidden dangers before these accidents are not discovered and dealt with in time, it will develop into a serious accident. Therefore, it is very important to formulate a sound maintenance system and implement it carefully to ensure the safe operation of FRP tanks.
Daily checks mainly include the following
1. Whether the valves and pipelines are leaking, whether the casing is frosted or sweating.
2. Whether all valves are in the normal opening and closing state.
3. Whether the instrument (liquid level gauge, pressure gauge) is working normally, and whether the DCS display parameters are consistent with the on-site primary meter.
4. Whether the storage plant pressure is normal; when the pressure is close to 1W or higher than the high pressure, it is necessary to open the vent valve to release the pressure.
5. Whether the liquid filling rate exceeds 95%.
6. For the atmospheric pressure powder insulation storage tank, whether the sealing gas is normal. (50mmH2O)
7. It is strictly forbidden to place flammable, explosive items and all sundries near the liquid oxygen storage tank.
8. Fireworks are strictly prohibited near the liquid oxygen storage tank.
9. The content of acetylene and total hydrocarbons in the liquid oxygen in the storage tank should be tested at least once a week, and the content of acetylene should not exceed 0.1 x 10-6 (v/v).
10. Whether the grounding of the liquid oxygen storage tank is good.
11. If it is not used for a long time, ensure that there is a certain amount of liquid in the tank, so as not to take a long time to re-cool the replacement tank.
12. Whether the outriggers are damaged, whether the foundation is sinking, tilting, or cracking, check whether the fastening screws of the galvanized steel air duct are intact, and whether the tank body is deformed.
13. Regularly check the vacuum degree of the storage tank.
