Due to the high strength and corrosion resistance of the products, the processing of glass fiber reinforced plastic scraps is difficult and costly.

At present, common treatment methods used to generate waste materials generally include landfilling and incineration. The landfill method is to bury its corner waste directly in the ground, which can easily cause secondary pollution and cause harm to the environment. The incineration method is to directly incinerate the corner waste of the product. During the incineration, black smoke billows, and many harmful gases are produced at the same time, causing air pollution and potential threats to people's health.

It is one of the emerging composite materials. As a new typical composite material, it is composed of glass fiber and unsaturated polyester resin. Usually, glass fiber is woven into glass cloth in advance, and then superimposed with unsaturated polyester resin. After curing, the unsaturated polyester resin can be made into glass fiber reinforced plastic products.

Its raw materials and the manufacturing process of FRP products will produce different degrees of pollution and toxicity. Cutting can easily cause dust pollution, which is harmful to the health of employees. Our manufacturers need to improve the hygiene of the working environment and do a good job in protection. Small businesses and individuals, in particular, have little input in this regard. Practitioners also lack awareness of self-protection.
